Dharmashala (Dharamshala) is the main tourist destination of Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh. On the one side of Dharamshala (Dharamshala), the Dhauladhar mountain ranges are the fertile valleys and Shivalik ranges on the other side. The British had established Dharamshala (Dharamshala) as a small tourist destination. Due to the establishment of its permanent residence here by the Dalai Lama and the headquarter of the exiled government of Tibet being established here, this tourist spot has emerged on the world tourism map.
